Crafting Guide

By TZER

Ok, since there was a need for a Crafting Guide. I thought that I would make one, and here it is! Now, if you see anything missing that you would like to be in here, please post your “request” here. I will add it as soon as I can!

General:

The first thing you need in order to even look up what materials are needed for crafting or you could call it a “blue print”. What you need is a ‘Manual’, these manuals tell you what materials you need. And they show one item for each class, of course these manuals are divided into weapon and armor (Helmet, gloves, leggings etc) manuals. Each has different levels attached to them, which means that you can get a, for example: “Level 15 Weapon Manual”. With this manual you can create level 15 weapons for all the classes there is.

In order to get your hands on a manual you will need to find on in drops or you can simply buy one from fellow players. If you don’t know what a manual looks like, then look at the screenshot below (Manuals look like big, fat books).

When you have obtained one of these manuals and double clicked it, select a class item you want to create. Click on the item and it displays what requirements are needed to be able to craft it, you will also notice that it displays the amount and what kind of material is needed (Manuals over level 21 need ‘Basic Armor Smith Level 2’). The display would look like this when you have opened the manual and selected the class item you want to create.

You can see the list of required materials under “Required things”.

After looking up what materials is needed and where they are. You will need to collect the materials, when you have all that is needed and the requirements are met it will be white. That is when you can craft your item, although if you have not met the requirements or have all the materials it will be in displayed as grey.

Here is a list of what materials can be gotten from stones, minerals or herbs (Thanks to Battery for providing me with it):

Low Quality stone:

Copper: 1 stone

Iron: 3 stones

Silver: 6 stones

Normal Quality stone:

Aluminum: 1 stone

Reinforced Steel: 3 stones

Gold: 6 stones

High Quality stone:

Agate: 1 stone

Diamond: 3 stones

Black Diamond: 6 stones

Yellow Herb Leaf:

Fiber: 2 leaves

Herbal Liquid E: 4 leaves

Herb Trunk:

Linen: 2 leaves

Herbal Liquid D: 4 leaves

Green Herb Leaf:

Cotton Fabric: 2 leaves

Herbal Liquid C: 4 leaves

Element E:

Water/Wind/Earth/Fire/Light/Dark Crystal E: All 2 elements each.

Element D:

Water/Wind/Earth/Fire/Light/Dark Crystal D: All 2 elements each.

Element C:

Water/Wind/Earth/Fire/Light/Dark Crystal C: All 2 elements each.

Resource map:

1 & 4 - Energy Crystals

2 & 3 - Herb Plants

5 - Ore Veins

Now, when you have had a look at this list and you know where to go (Since you have taken a fast peek in the manual to see what you need). You are off to collect the materials, this will take quite a while (The processing that is). So you can munch on some food or watch an interesting program on the TV.

If you plan to be ”AFK” for a long time, use: ‘Energy Rock’, ‘Crop’ or ‘Ore Mine’. These are unlimited, while ‘Energy Stone’, ‘Brush’ and ‘Ore Vein’ will disappear once depleted. Also note that resources that disappear once depleted gives you materials more often that unlimited ones!

Once you are done with collecting what you need, process the items yourself (Will be explained further down the page) or go to the NPC ‘Master Processing Materials’ and get it done for quite a price. Now, just because he is a ‘Master’ does not necessarily mean that he cannot fail. Oh yes he can fail, more often than you might think. But if you are afraid of the doing the processing yourself, then let him do it! He cannot fail all the time!

Once all your materials are processed and you have them all in your inventory, double click the manual and put it together!

To process your own materials:

One thing before I begin with this part though, I recommend that you have at least level 2 or higher in transmutation skills before you start processing.

So you think that the ‘Master Processing Materials’ is not good enough to process your hard-earned materials do you? (Like most of us do)

This is true, he tends to fail a lot and there is hardly any "master" in him anyways. Now, go to ‘Scroll Trader and buy a processing scroll. It will say that it is a production manual (Although it is a processing scroll).

It works exactly the same as your other manuals, except it creates materials (Not items). Create your materials and hope that you succeeded, if not, you will lose your materials. While processing stones (And maybe other basic materials) you have a chance to get powder. This will occur in the following way (List taken from here):

From E-Grade Element - Powder of Magic Defensive (Failed Process).

From Low Quality Stone - Powder of Physical Defensive (Succeeded Process).

From Low Quality Stone - Powder of Physical Defensive (Failed Process).

You have a chance to get powder, whether the process succeeds or not.

Now if you lose your materials, you will have to do it all over again. This might make you think “It would have been better if I had let the ‘Master Processing Materials’ do this”. But he could have failed just as you and you might have noticed by now. Making an item requires a lot of patience. Patience that most players do not have!
