Titan Guide

Basic Tips:

Well, here are some basic tips for titans in general. Axes deal more damage but have a slower attack, while swords are vice versa. In short, this means that axes are more useful for skills, such as power magnum and knee crash which seldom miss,as they deal higher burst damage. Swords on the other hand are more accurate and don't miss as often as axes, but they have a lower max damage and hence, are less useful when combined with active skills, resulting in a lower burst damage compared to axes. Overall,I prefer axe simply because it looks cooler and has a higher max damage!

Also, titans are a class that bases itself mostly on gear.Gear is crucial for many titans.Hence,it is advised that you keep buying your equal-levelled gear when you're grinding for levels,as it really helps you take less damage(for armor) and deal more damage(for weapons). I don't upgrade my weapons while below 25,as I don't think it's worth it.

Also,on a side note, the best way to gain experience and level is by forming combat parties. General and precedence parties do not offer much experience bonus compared to combat parties. However, you must note that combat parties work best when you and your partner are killing separate mobs. If both of you attack the same mob,it defeats the purpose and you would have been better off forming a general party.

Stats:

The stats for titans are pretty much simplified. We're a damage-dealing class that deals the most damage per hit and can take a whole lot of attacks thrown our way.I use this special method for putting my stats. For every 10 strength points you put in,increase your constitution by 2. Which means that your stats by level 13 should look like this:

Strength: 10

Dexterity: 0

Intelligence: 0

Constitution: 2

By level 25:

Strength: 20

Dexterity: 0

Intelligence: 0

Constituion: 4

Some people prefer adding a little bit of stats to intelligence for skill usage and dexterity. This is ill-advised as you can later buy accesories that seek to increase these 2 skills, which I currently am doing. The base skills would be strength/constitution,but you will also have to find accessories that increase dex/int as well, because by doing so,you would be a more rounded titan.

Skills:

Skills can be separated into both active and passive skills. From my own personal opinion, active skills are more suited towards PvP while passive skills are more useful for killing monsters/levelling. Titan is no different in such an aspect. However, the best result is not by maxing one category and ignoring the other, but rather to find the best combination of both that will cater to your needs.

Active Skills:

Power Magnum - Level 2

This is basically a skill that adds to your attack damage and does nothing else.It helps your early level grinding.

Nitro Bomber - Level 1

I don't really like this skill,as it doesn't really help much in PvP.Put 1 point in it so that you can use knee crash.

Knee Crash - Level 3

I really love this skill,as it not only adds to your damage, but also slows and stuns your enemies as well. I use this often even while grinding monsters.

Passive Skills:

Health Mastery - Level 4

Hp is a crucial stat for many titans, hence is is mandatory to raise this skill, which adds to your maximum hp.

Adrenalin Mastery - Level 4

Increases your attack speed. You'll need it for easier grinding.

Move Mastery - Level 4

Increase movement speed, which is crucial when you're chasing down people in PvP or running away from mobs. However, the extra cost for raising it to level 5 isn't worth it,so just stay at 4.

Control Mastery - Level 4

Increases your chance for a critical or deadly strike.Raise it to level 4 for extra damage boosts while mobbing or shock people in PvP with your high deadly crits.

Weapon Mastery - Level 4

Increases your attack power by a certain amount (4-5 more AP/level for me).Important skill that must be pumped to at least level 4. You can always push it up to lvl 5 if you have the spare points.

Harden Skin - Level 4

One of the more crucial skills for Titans in general. It increases your defense by 20 per level. This is one skill that should be maxed if you have the spare points,as it really reduces your damage intake.

Conclusion:

I strive to create the perfect guide for every beginning Titan, but every guide isn't perfect. Therefore I hope to see some feedbacks and constructive comments in areas that are lacking or certain skillpoints you believe deserve some mentioning. This is a relatively new game and as I speak,I'm still learning more about this class and I'll add more information as I continue to level up just like you guys too. I just hope that this guide will serve to brighten up the prospects of the extremely quiet Titan class thread in this forum, and please remain supportive and patient of the Titan class while I continue to update this guide. Thank you!
